Arts and Media Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough

It takes a unique skillset to thrive in the field of arts and media management — and that’s just what we give you in our broad range of courses, which bring together creative endeavours and business. Our arts management program is the oldest in the country and continues to be used as a model by other schools. You won't just combine general arts and business courses, you’ll take a wealth of specific arts and media management courses that equip you with the scholarship and skills to work in this constantly evolving environment, across the private, non-profit and public sectors.

Gain a firm, practical knowledge of the theories and practices used to manage creative arts and media enterprises. You’ll get hands-on, experiential learning opportunities with courses that have you tackle real-world problems through case studies and simulations. Our major program is particularly designed to complement majors in art history and visual culture, studio art, music and culture, theatre and performance studies, media studies, new media studies or journalism, meaning you can customize your learning around your goals.
