What’s your favourite course at UTSC and why?
My favourite course at UTSC is POLA01. The reason why I like this Politic Science class is because of the material we were talking about (This semester is about different revolutions.) and our professor was super funny so I didn’t feel the class was boring. Also, this class made me feel more connected politically, which I like.
Who’s your favourite professor at UTSC and why?
My Favourite Professor at UTSC would be Professor Michael Ho (Introduction of Microeconomics). He is the kind of professor that has a sense of humor, but it is “The Office” type of humor. Also, the speed of his class was really helpful in learning to adjust to the university vibe. Although at first, you would feel kind of rushed, you will feel good after adjusting to the course speed. l
What’s your favourite spot on campus and why?
My favourite spot on campus is the Market Place located in the Humanities Wing. The Market Place has different types of food and more healthy choices. Also, I love the sushi and shawarma food there. Also, outside of the Market Place, there is an open area for student to chill and get the sunlight and fresh air!
Why did you decide to come to UTSC?
It’s a diverse and dynamic campus and people are really nice. UTSC is a smaller community compared with downtown campus and I personally like this vibe better and people here are connected with each other. Most importantly, the environment of our campus is so natural that it keeps me out of the room all day!
Why did you decide to become an SRA?
I was curious about how university recruits students and I love the working environment in this amazing office. Being an SRA also can learn many different skills, especially your communication skill. What’s more, this job helps you connect with this campus as much as you can!
Favourite movie/TV show?
The Good Wife. This show really showed some real techniques of law as well as some legal terms and it gave me the idea of becoming a lawyer in the future.
Steak. If feels so juicy and every bite makes me feel so happy and satisfied.
