What’s your favourite course at UTSC and why?

My favourite course at UTSC is “Introduction to Biological and Cognitive Psychology” because I really enjoy the content of the course, and we have the ability to apply what we learn in the real world. I also really like the professor. He is very engaging, and makes the lectures very interesting. 


Who’s your favourite professor at UTSC and why? 

It is very hard to choose a favourite professor, because all of our professors are great. They really care about the students, and are really passionate about the material that they teach. If I had to choose, I would pick Professor Steve Joordens. His lectures are always very interesting.  


What’s your favourite spot on campus and why? 

My favourite spot on campus would be the Library. It's a quiet place to study, and there are lots of resources that are available to help you. 


Why did you decide to come to UTSC? 

I decided to come to UTSC because I knew that I had the option to do COOP with the program I chose. I also was able to go on a campus tour before accepting my offer. This allowed me to get a feel for the campus, and see if it was a good fit for me.  


Why did you decide to become an SRA? 

I decided to become an SRA because applying to University was very stressful for me, and I knew that this position would give me the opportunity to help the applicants out, and ease some of their worries. I also knew that the campus tour I went on, played a really big role in my decision to come to UTSC, and through this position I could ensure that I could potential students a really good impression of what the campus was like.


Favourite movie/TV show? 

My favourite T.V. show is “The Office” because it is really funny, and through all of the dark humour and satire it has a great plot line. 


Favourite food? 

My favourite food is Pizza! 


If you could give one piece of advice to your 1st year self what would it be? 

I am currently a first-year student, and if I were to give my past self, advice for the beginning of the school year, I would say “Don't worry, everything will be fine!” because I was very anxious.
