U of T Scarborough offers many dynamic paths to success. From our very inception, we’ve known the value of combining academic learning with hands-on experience. With more than 250 program options and over 1,300 courses offered annually, the hardest choice will be deciding what to learn first. Our programs are categorized into the following admission categories:

Admission Categories

Computer Science at U of T Scarborough aims to combine the theory and practical elements of the integration of computers into many fields. This program provides the working knowledge of the foundations of computer science: modern computer software and hardware, theoretical aspects of computer science, and relevant areas of mathematics and statistics. The Double Degree program is an accelerated pathway for students to acquire a broad range of expertise while completing their Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in five years. Learn more about the Double Degree program.

 

One of the most unique and dynamic programs found at U of T Scarborough, International Development Studies is a multi-disciplinary study of how and why countries develop differently from each other. It ties together fields like Geography, Political Science, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Economics and Development Studies to make it a truly unique academic discipline. Learn more about International Development Studies.

Students in Journalism receive multi-disciplinary training that is unique to this Joint program with Centennial College. You will learn both the academic and the practical sides of Journalism while learning from leading academics and professionals. The program focuses on critical thinking, research, writing and communications skills needed to examine issues concerning news, media, journalism and society. Learn more about the Journalism program.

The work of life scientists will influence decisions made over the next decades – decisions that will have an extraordinary impact on the world’s future and how we meet the challenges ahead. Engage in high-profile research with some of Canada’s leading scientists and researchers and learn first-hand how to ask — and answer — the questions that make a difference. Business leaders require flexibility, adaptability and creativity to succeed in today’s competitive environment. U of T Scarborough Management graduates have boundless opportunities and are employed in every sector. The program also provides a solid foundation for entrepreneurs and students who wish to pursue professional certification in areas such as accounting or human resource management, or further study with graduate programs or law. Learn more about Management programs.

The Management and International Business program at U of T Scarborough will educate students to view business leadership through a truly international lens, and is the only program of its kind at U of T. At U of T Scarborough, we offer Mathematics programs for students with a broad range of interests, graduate plans and career aspirations. The Music Industry and Technology program aims to provide long-term career preparation by offering practical, career-oriented courses in music business and technology, as well as industry connections, in order to meet the needs of students who seek a combination of broad-based knowledge that can adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of music, business, and technology and career-ready skills. Learn more about the Music Industry & Technology program.

This program is described as a leader in paramedic education and is unique in Canada as it blends the academic and practical aspects of paramedic education.
