Description:
Through the Modern-Day Griot Project, University of Toronto Scarborough students who have a lived experience of Blackness will have the opportunity to explore how they see the world, themselves, and the Black communities they make up. We will take a five-month-long journey of self-reflection, healing, celebration, and implementation – showing that greatness and excellence is found in all aspects of Black life. Join us to learn more about the project, why you should get involved, and how to apply.
**This workshop is open 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 to UTSC students with lived experiences in Black communities and with anti-Black racism.
