Biography
Alexander Irving was born in 1962 in Ottawa, Ontario. He received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1987 and his Master of Fine Art from York University in 2000. He has been exhibiting his work since 1986 and currently works out of Toronto.
He has taught at the Ontario College of Art and Design and, at present, holds the post of Lecturer at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
