Covid-19 protocols

Any in-person or on-campus activities are governed by the University’s Covid-19 protocols and policies. Everyone who comes on-campus is required to read and act in accordance with these protocols. Most important are the need to be fully vaccinated (unless you have an exemption formally agreed with the university) and the requirement to sign in to ucheck before coming on campus. When you are on campus there will be signage that will explain the protocols. These include room capacity notices, information about social distancing, mask wearing and sanitization processes. We ask that you abide by these processes to maintain all of our and your safety. If you have any questions please see the links below, or contact the Manager Technical Operations who will try to assist you with your query.

Vaccination information

  • UTSC/U of T requires all members of our community who are coming on campus to be fully vaccinated. If you don’t have your vaccinations you cannot come on campus. You will need to wait 14 days after your second vaccination before you can come on campus.
  • UTSC/U of T is following the post-secondary recommendations of the Council of Ontario Medical Officers of Health and provincial government.
  • UTSC/U of T requires those without vaccinations to get their first dose by September 13th, and be fully vaccinated by October 15th 2021.
  • Permitted exemptions for medical reasons or other protected ground under the Ontario Human Rights Code may be requested through the University’s Enterprise Service Centre (ServiceNow). Once approved, anyone with an exemption will be required to enroll in RAS (Rapid Antigen Screening)
  • In due course Ucheck will change to allow users to upload their vaccine records as confirmation of a community member’s compliance with the vaccine mandate.
