Students walking on campus

Congratulations on your acceptance to UTSC! We’re excited you’ve joined our community.

International/Out of Town Students

If you are unable to attend the Get Started session in person, please watch the Get Started Course Selection Modules. This will help you understand academic policies and regulations and help you prepare for course selection.

NOTE: The course selection date for first year students will be July 9, 2018.

If you need additional support, connect with a knowledgable Academic Advising & Career Centre staff member through our special online “chat” sessions from June 18 to August 31, 2018. Access the chat by clicking the green "Live Support" button on the AA&CC website during designated chat times. Chats will run Monday, Wednesday, Friday- 1-2 pm EST and Tuesday, Thursday- 9-10 am EST.

MORE CHAT SESSIONS! For July 3, 4, 5, 6 we will have an extra hour of chat sessions available from 2-3pm EST to help get you ready for course selection on July 9th. (Students are required to watch the course selection modules prior to joining the chat sessions.)

We will also have special Get Started sessions on Wednesday, July 18 and  Monday, August 27 for students who are unable to attend the program in person during the early summer sessions. An Academic Learning Strategist will review academic regulations and course selection information and our helpful coaches will be on hand to look at your timetable to ensure everything is ready for the year ahead. Click here for registration information.

In addition, we will be running our Course Selection Blitz service throughout the summer and expand service during "move in" week at the end of August. In these one-on-one sessions, our helpful coaches will answer your questions regarding first year course selection. Check the schedule on our Get Started website for specific times. We will be adding more dates throughout the summer.

As always, feel free to contact us via email at at anytime and we will respond within 2 business days.

We look forward to seeing you on campus in September!
