Mental Wellness Peer Educators are a diverse group dedicated to promoting social, emotional and psychological well-being among students at the University of Toronto Scarborough. As a group, we are dedicated to educate students on issues related with mental health and illness.
We hold various seminars and events on campus throughout the year on topics such as: mental illness awareness (anxiety, depression); stress and time management; sleep habits; self-esteem and body image; and strategies for healthy living.
We can also be found at the Wellness Corner, located in the Student Centre, on Tuesday or Wednesday to answer any of your questions. If you're dealing with any of these issues, know someone who is, or just want to learn more, the Mental Wellness Team is here for you! Get in touch with us at our displays, events or by e-mail at wpp_mw@utsc.utoronto.ca
