Management PLUS

Our Management PLUS Programs are designed to give students a solid background in both Management and any of the other areas below. After completing any one of these Programs successfully, students will receive a strong BBA degree. Also, all Programs have the Co-op option.
Management PLUS Arts/Science Programs 2009
This will be the last year that we are admitting new first year students to Management PLUS (BBA) Programs (with the exception of Management and Information Technology. You may notice that the 2009/10 academic Calendar does not include details on these Programs because we decided not to list the programs in the current Calendar since the programs will not be available to currently enrolled students. However, students currently registered in those Programs may continue as usual. We want to assure you that you will be able to complete the Program of your choice and course offerings will not be affected.
Please note that you will be required to complete the program requirements as described in the 2008-2009 UTSC Calendar. You will still follow the 2009-2010 UTSC Calendar for the non Co-op BBA, or Co-op BBA programs for other requirements, such as grades required to stay in the programs.
You are likely wondering why we are making this change. It is not unusual for Departments to review programs. Our experience with the "Management PLUS Arts/ Science (B.B.A) Programs" has been that several of the students in these specialized programs decided to transfer into the regular BBA program and take other courses as electives instead of completing the full program requirements.
We would like to emphasize that we are making the change simply because we want our program descriptions to represent what most of our students end up doing. We encourage our students to explore the broad range of offerings at the University of Toronto, and it is our view that exposure to disciplines outside management is of great benefit to B.B.A. students. Students in the regular B.B.A. Specialist in Management programs are able to enrol in other major or minor programs and to get certification in them.
