Research

At the University of Toronto Scarborough, Graduate Studies is a growing area of focus. Primary areas of concentration for students engaged in research at U of T Scarborough include botany, zoology, psychology, anthropology, geography, chemistry, geology, and environmental sciences.

Overview:

Faculty at the University of Toronto Scarborough:

  • teach more than 140 graduate courses, mainly on the St. George campus
  • supervise a total of 226 PhD students and 107 Masters students in more than 30 different departments across the University of Toronto
  • provide on-site supervision to 106 of those graduate students - 70 PhD students and 36 Masters students with primary affiliation with U of T Scarborough
  • supervise a total of 43 Postdoctoral Fellows, of whom 14 are on campus
  • 66 students are registered in the Master of Environmental Science (MEnvSc) program at UTSC and 24 in first year classes at UTSC in the Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources (MIRHR) program
