Live the residence experience in Summer 2018!
Summer residents enjoy the convenience and comfort of living in Joan Foley Hall. Residence life activities and events provide opportunities for residents to engage with their peers and help them feel at home in a safe, fun, and inclusive community.
Each Joan Foley Hall apartment unit consists four to five housemates living together sharing a common living area, kitchen, and two washrooms. All units are fully furnished and equipped with major kitchen appliances - all you need to bring is your clothes, bedding, dishware, and personal items to make it "home"! Both Same Gender and All Gender housing options are offered. Residence fees include all utilities and internet; additional optional costs include telephone, cable, laundry, and meal plans. You can apply for Summer residence at any time between March 2 to July 20, however, your application date must be at least 1 week prior to your requested move in date for shorter-term stays.
If requesting a specific roommate, apply by: March 30, 2018
If requesting for a partial-session stay (minimum 4 weeks): July 20, 2018
Summer residence is availalble for current University of Toronto students as well as students of a post-secondary institution that are either studying or working in the Toronto area during the summer between May 6, 2018 and August 24, 2018. Full semester and partial semester stays are offered. The minimum stay for the Summer Residence is 4 weeks. There is no minimum course load requirement for summer residence.
Visiting Summer Students: Please contact the Student Housing & Residence Life office before submiiting an online application. A copy of your photo ID must be submitted if you do not have a University of Toronto student number. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, name of your home institution, photo of your student ID card, and anticipated dates. A username and password for the Student Housing Portal will be generated for you to use to complete your online application
