Each September, Student Housing & Residence Life coordinates an orientation program for first year students living in residence. The program includes opening ceremonies, key notes, speakers, entertainers, games and information sessions all designed to introduce each resident to the residence life program, to housemates and to fellow community members. This fun and interactive program is generously supported by the Scarborough Campus Residence Council and Aramark Food Services.

All incoming-first year students are automatically registered for Residence Orientation.

Residence Orientation is an exciting few days that offers first-years the chance to get to know other first-year students in the residence community and to get familiar with the campus before anyone else. Residence Orientation allows UTSC residents to get familiar with their new home in a comfortable yet exciting environment. Check out the links at the bottom of the page to get a taste of what orientation is all about!

*Please note: First-year move-in is Monday, August 28, 2017. First- year students are automatically registered to participate in Residence Orientation, and there are no additional costs for residents.
