Returning to Studies after an Absence
Students previously registered at University of Toronto Scarborough who wish to return after an absence of three or more consecutive sessions (at least 12 months) must submit an "Application to Re-Enrol" to the Registrar's Office. To download the application, you will need Adobe Reader 4.0 or above. If you have studied at another post-secondary institution you must submit your transcript, along with the re-enrolment form. Students returning after an academic suspension should click here for procedures.
Application Dates:
Enrolment in most courses is on a first-come, first-served basis. In order
to have the forms processed in time, to take advantage of the wider availability
of courses early in the course selection period, students are strongly
advised to apply to re-enrol by:
- Mid-March for the Summer Session
- Mid-June for the Fall or Fall & Winter Sessions
- Early October for the Winter Session
Deadlines:
Applications to re-enrol will ONLY be considered if received before classes
begin in the session.

Academic status after academic suspension:
Your status upon return is "academic probation" because your cumulative
Grade Point Average (GPA) is below 1.60. Probation is a warning that your
performance must improve if you wish to continue your studies with us.
