While attending University, most students become legally able to consume alcohol for the first time. The only legal places to consume alcohol on campus are within the residences and in licensed premises.

The University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Police with the assistance of the Scarborough Campus Student Union are promoting an anti-graffiti program to eradicate graffiti on campus.

The University of Toronto Scarborough CampusPolice Services has employed a Bicycle Patrol Unit since 1993. Ten officers are currently trained as Bike Patrol Officers.

During the summer of 2008 University of Toronto Scarborough added 12 additaional emergency phone in campus classrooms. Read more to get the the listing of emergency phone location.

University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Police has been participating in the Highway Help Program since 1998 by distributing "Call Police" signs free of charge to commuting members of the University Community. These signs are displayed by stranded motorists to prompt passersby to notify Police of their car troubles.

The Lone Worker Program is designed to create a safer environment for users of the campus and enables Lone Worker's to sign out a personal safety radio from the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Police Office.

S.T.O.P. THEFT is an anti-theft and recovery program designed for electronic equipment such as laptops. Special identification plates installed on your computer deter thieves and make it easier to recover the computer if it's lost or stolen.

Traffic Safety on campus has become a routine topic of discussion among University of Toronto Scarborough community members. Numerous complaints have been received through various community forums. Future growth both in size and numbers will only exacerbate the need for a program focused on encouraging voluntary compliance to the rules of the road and parking lots.

Residence Watch

VILLAGE WATCH is a community program for students living on the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus. This is simply a program of neighbours watching out for other neighbours. It is aimed at reducing crime in the community.

The U of T Scarborough Patrol Service, formerly known as the Walksafer Service supplements the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Police Service by providing security and safety patrols of the University of Toronto Scarborough campus. They also conduct routine identification checks in designated study areas and provide safety escorts when requested.
