Course Announcements
- (18/12/24) Linjun will hold extra office hours this
week before the exam. Times and locations: (1) Wednesday 18 December
15:00-17:00ET in IC-404, (2) Thursday 19 December 12:00-16:00ET in IC-404.

- (16/12/24) I will be available to answer questions
at the AMACSS CSCC37 final exam review session tomorrow
afternoon (December 17th) in SY-110. Check AMACSS on instagram
for further updates about the review session.
- (16/12/24) This afternoon was my last regularly
scheduled office hour before the exam.
- (09/12/24) The final exam is on Friday 20 December
14:00-17:00ET. Click here
for room allocations. You must go to your assigned room.
As with the term test, the exam is closed book—no aids allowed,
no devices. All you need to bring with you is a pen or pencil to
write with (preferably a blue pen) and your UofT student card.

The final CSCC37 lecture this term is on Tuesday 3 December.

lecture on 22 November (Friday students), and will be discussed
on 2 December (Monday students).
The red curve is the Runge function,
blue is a degree 5 interpolant,
and green is a degree 9 interpolant.
Each interpolant is defined over equally-spaced points on [-1, 1].
- (26/11/24) The ThanksGiving day (14 October)
make up lecture for LEC01 (Monday students) is scheduled
for Tuesday 3 December, 14:00-17:00ET in IA-1150. The topic
is Numerical Integration/Quadrature. (Remember there is also
the regularly-scheduled LEC01 lecture on Monday 2 December.)

- (12/10/24) The ThanksGiving holiday will change the
syncronization of the lecture sections. For example, the Monday lecture
on 21 October (more than a week from now) will cover material discussed
in the Friday lecture yesterday on 11 October.
- (12/10/24) This coming Monday 14 October is ThanksGiving.
The university is closed on Monday and there is no Monday lecture or
office hour. There will be a Friday lecture and office hour
on 18 October, though, and tutorials next week (Tuesday -> Friday)
are not affected by the ThanksGiving holiday.

Each week, the Monday lecture is in sync with the previous Friday lecture.
For example, the lecture on Monday 9 September covers the same material
as the lecture on Friday 6 September.
