As senior students near the end of their tenure at UTSC, many are faced with a variety of emotions. Feelings of joy and happiness, as well as those of uncertainty and anxiety, can consume the minds of those about to embark on "post-UTSC" life. UTSC is actually very well equipped to alleviate some of your anxiety by assisting you with some of the challenges you will soon be facing.
Students are advised to utilize the Degree Navigator, to ensure that all degree and course requirements have been met, and they are scheduled to graduate as planned.
Students can access their Graduation and Convocation information through the Registrars Office. Students must confirm their Intent to Graduate through ROSI.
UofT Graduates are able to use Career Centre services at all three campuses for up to 2 years after they have graduated. This includes the Recent Graduates Employment Service (RGES), career counselling, workshops, the Career Resource Library and all other employment services. Students must register with the Career CentreOnline to access job listings.
As a graduate of UTSC, you are automatically a member of the Alumni Association, which includes a number of membership benefits. Graduates are invited to all Alumni Special Events and Reunions, and are encouraged to become involved with the Management Alumni Association (MAA) or the Alumni Theatre Group (ALTHEA). The Association is always looking for volunteers with energy and enthusiasm to continue its commitment to the University, building tradition and community service.
Established in 1984, GRADitude is the University of Toronto’s graduating class giving campaign. Graduates are invited to make a difference in the lives of future students by contributing to the student-driven project. Contact the Office of Advancement for more information.
Students are encouraged to attend various Graduate Program Information Sessions, Career Employment Fairs and Work Abroad/Overseas Sessions offered throughout the year.
