My research is conceptually driven by sexual selection theory. I am particularly interested in male-male competition (including sperm competition), and mate choice by males and females. I am also interested in the evolution of female social dominance in lemurs.

My current research involves the ringtailed lemur (Lemur catta), a small-bodied Malagasy prosimian primate. My research investigates the factors affecting mating success and reproductive success in this species, including aggressive male mating competition, dispersal, and female mate choice.
