The UGD is a USER-CONTRIBUTED database. You provide the data for you favourite Towns/Cities, and these data will be formatted and stored permanently at this site in a form accessible to everyone.
This database provides brief descriptions of a wide variety of cities and their groundwater issues, together with contacts and references. It is an initial access point with links to further information material.
The Database was an initiative of the former IAH Commission on Urban Groundwater (IAHCGUA) and consists of City/Town entries contributed by people from around the world. The database was founded by Claus Otto (of CSIRO, Australia) and is currently managed by the IAH-UGN Director Ken Howard at the University of Toronto Scarborough in Canada.
