GET STARTED 2012
Get Started is an ALL-DAY (9:00AM - 3:00PM) academic orientation event created for incoming students to the University of Toronto Scarborough. The program is designed to introduce you to, and help you use all of the tools necessary to have a successful first year at the University of Toronto Scarborough. You will get the opportunity to meet staff and faculty members as well as interact with other first year students. You will also get the chance to choose which first year courses you might want to take and get tips & advice from a Coach - a senior student. Finally, you will get to explore the campus, learn about the many services available to you, and get your UofT Student Card.
What To Bring?
2 days before your scheduled date, you will get an email outlining what you need to bring to Get Started. You will need: Your Confirmation Page (check the email you provided when you signed up), your Calendar & Registration Guide, Your Offer of Admission, Government ID, & Proof of Status in Canada. How To Get Here?
Whether you're driving, busing, running, or walking, getting to the sign-in table is easy! Sign-in is at 8:30AM in the AA Building Lobby (outlined in your Confirmation email). Please note that parking is not free so if you're driving, make sure you follow the instruction outlined in our Parking & Maps Page. Learn more
When Is It?
Get Started every year runs between the end of June until mid-July. Check the Schedule page of the website for more info. As spaces fill up quickly, sign up as soon as possible to get a day you want. Learn more
