Invitation to Conference: Will Communism in China End Soon?

The China Research Association of the University of Toronto cordially invites you to attend a conference on the fate of Communism, particularly that of Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Publication of a set of nine editorial commentaries on the CCP (http://english.epochtimes.com/jiuping.asp) by the Epoch Times Global News Network has opened the floodgate of withdrawals from the CCP. Currently the number stands at 1,395,421, and it has been increasing rapidly. This naturally raises a question -- Will Communism in China End Soon?

We have invited leading experts in various fields to share with us their insights, among those invited are:

Mr. Stockwell Day, Member of Parliament, Former Leader of the Official Opposition

Mr. Clive Ansley, Canadian lawyer, with 14 years of experience practicing law in China

Professor Jan Narveson (Ph.D. Harvard, 1961), Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, University of Waterloo

Mr. Nart Villeneuve, Director of Technical Research of the University of Toronto's Citizen lab, which researches web censorship around the world; also testified as an Expert Witness before the US Congress on the state of Internet censorship in China

Professor Syed Serajul Islam (Ph.D. McGill), Chair, Department of Political Science, Lakehead University

Everyone is invited to come. Admission is free. We would appreciate it if you could notify us in advance that you would attend. You are welcome to submit your paper (limited to 1,000 words) to the conference. We will select the best ones to publish.  We can be reached by email at cra@utsc.utoronto.ca.
