Your assignments must be written entirely by yourself. You may discuss ideas and share sources with your colleagues, but the structure of the paper, the arguments, and every word on the page (with the exception of quotations and the like) should be your own work.
You will submit your assignments via Quercus by the deadline.
Assignments may be submitted as MS Word or PDF documents, and must be named as:
LastName_FirstName_Ax
Where last and first name are your last and first name, and x is the assignment number.
(For the proposal, midway report, and term papper, replace the Ax with P, M and T as appropriate)
Your name must be at the top of all assignments (no cover pages are necessary for assignments).

Turnitin Disclaimer
Written assignments in this course, including the term paper, will be evaluted by Turnitin. If you are unwilling to participate in the system, you must tell your instructor without delay.
Disclaimer:
"Normally, students will be required to submit their course essays to Turnitin.com for a review of
textual similarity and detection of possible plagiarism. In doing so, students will allow their essays
to be included as source documents in the Turnitin.com reference database, where they will be used
solely for the purpose of detecting plagiarism. The terms that apply to the University's use of the
Turnitin.com service are described on the Turnitin.com web site”.
Please note:
- Originality reports are generated for all submissions.
- You will be able to see the originality report for your assignment.
- Bibliography materials are included in the originality report, so if you did a reference properly it will show as “copied” from elsewhere -this is a good thing.
- Quoted material, identified by leading and trailing quotation marks, are also included in the originality report.
- If you see a similarity of 25% for example, and you have properly formatted references, quotation marks around quotes, and no other significant similarities are found, then you have done a good job.
- overwrite a submission, but not after the due date and time.
- submit after the due date and time (the system won't stop you), but your assignment is considered to be late, and won't be marked without good reason
