Design & Construction
Management provides
support to teaching, research
and administrative functions
on campus. The Director reports
to the Chief Administrative
Officer. |
Recovery Projects
| The office works closely with all parties and users at the University to build environments that meet the varying needs of a constantly changing community. The majority of projects involving physical alterations of existing space are developed in collaboration with the client, the Campus Design & Development (CDD) and Facilities Management. |
Design Services
| We support various planning groups in the recovery and renovation of underused or rededicated space. Design & Construction Management offers design consultation and resources to establish detailed architectural, electrical, mechanical drawings and specifications as directed by the CDD Committee. |
Project Management
| Design & Construction Management issues the drawings and specifications to approved contractors and manages the tendering process. Once the bids have been reviewed and a vendor is selected, the Total Project Cost is completed and the project is submitted for final approval by the CDD Committee. Once a project is approved, we issue contracts, establish schedules and have oversight of the project until completion. |
