Group Fitness classes are FREE to all students and members of the Recreation Centre 2011/2012 and do not require sign-up. All fitness levels are welcome.

The challenge to gain a strong, firm mid section continues. Let’s fight this battle together! You’ll be led through exciting interval conditioning drills mainly focusing on tightening the areas in the abdominals, back and glutes. You’ll use a variety of fun equipment to keep you coming back for more!
This class includes intervals of compoud muscular endurance exercises (e.g. push-ups) that require individuals to utilize their body weight as resistance and core conditioning exercise (abs and back) as a bonus.
Suited towards all fitness levels, this class consists of a variety of cardio drills, resistance training, and total muscle conditioning. This bootcamp-style class will have you feeling totally "Pumped Up"!
Are you ready to step up to the challenge of Step & Pump? A progressive cardio-conditioning workout that combines fun stepping patterns. Muscle conditioning is also a component of the class using a variety of resistance equipment and the step.
This is a fantastic combo of body strengthening and flexibility training. You will use your body weight and dumbbells to tone the body, experience a blast of core exercises on the mat, and reward yourself with elegant ballet stretching on the bar. Join in to improve your balance, coordination and posture.
Thighs, Abs and Buns. Are you missing the muscle conditioning from your workouts? Come experience the FUN way to add more to your routine. You will use stability balls, tubing and weights to focus on your Thighs, Abs and Buns.
Looking for a class to work you from top to bottom, and inside-out? Give Work it Out a try! This class consists of Hi-Low aerobics to get your heart pumping, followed by muscle conditioning to keep your body balanced. End with a rewarding stretch, and your workout is complete
Join the party! Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique dance and fitness focused moves. It’s a “feel happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. It’s the ultimate Latin and International fiesta!
