Group Fitness classes are FREE to all UTSC Students, Staff & Faculty.
High & low exercise options are avaliable in all classes and no prior experience is necessary.
Proper athletic footwear is mandatory.

Bootcamp

Get ready to work, military style! Our trainer will take you through fun & challenging drills that blend agility, endurance, speed and strength to push you to achieve your personal best!

Bollywood Boogie

Explore a variety of South Asian dance styles ranging from the intricate steps of Bollywood to the high-energy movements of Bhangra. Participants will savour the fluidity of movement.

Cyclefit

You will be assisted with set up on stationary spin bikes. This is an energy boosting class. Your instructor will take you on a thrilling journey through a variation of hill climbs, speed intervals and endurance riding followed by stretches.

Cyclefit & Pump

This is the same invigorating workout on the spin bikes, but now add some muscle conditioning for a full cardio & muscle conditioning workout.

Max Interval Training

This is the same challenging and famous 'Insanity®' class that everyone is raving about! It is a total body, cardio driven, circuit training workout that uses only your body weight as resistance. The instructor will give exercise modifications for all levels of fitness. If you are sick of doing the same old routine, definitely give this new class a try.

NEW! Habitats of Happiness (10 Week Program)

Combining head, heart and health. Blending physical exercise with Hatha Yoga, stretches, breath regulation and strength-based mindfulness, this class will take you towards holistic habits of happiness. It is open to all UTSC students that want both success and serenity, inner peace and outer confidence, strong bodies and sharp minds. Taught in tandem by a physical health professional and a mental health practitioner, this class will teach you skills of physical and mental well-being, which, if practiced over time, can turn into habits of happiness.

NEW! Muscle Up

Experience this dynamic whole body muscle conditioning class, using dumbbells & body bars as resistance tools. If you are new to weight training or are tired of doing the same old strength routine, definitely give this new class a try.

 

Socacize

Socacize™ is a creative blend of high/low impact aerobics combined with African and Caribbean dance movements. The music used is calypso, soca, zouk, reggae, salsa, dancehall and on occasion drums.

NEW! Stability Ball Ab Circuit

A unique, fun & challenging class for the whole body focusing on targeting the core and arm muscles. Your journey will begin with a gusion of high-low combinations, high intensity circuits and toning exercises followed by a Yoga stretch, all incorporating the use of the stability ball. Get ready to have fun and feel great after this class.

Step & Pump

Are you ready to step up to the challenge of Step & Pump? This class is a progressive cardio-conditioning workout that combines fun stepping patterns on the plaform. Muscle conditioning will be added for a complete full-body workout.

NEW! Tabata & Circuits (30 Minute Class)

Your instructor will take you through short, high intensity intervals using various equipment and recovery intervals. Jam packed with cardio, strength and endurance exercises, this class is designed for all levels of fitness, including beginners. Enjoy a full body relaxing cool down.

Total Body Blast

This class focuses on three elements for a power packed, dynamic class. Come out to improve your cardiovascular system, muscular endurance and core strength. You'll leave feeling energized!

This ultimate energizing cardiovascular class combines martial arts with fitness moves in easy to follow combinations making it the hottest new trend

Zumba

Ditch the workout! Join the party! Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique dance and fitness focused moves. It’s a “feel happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. It’s the ultimate Latin and International fiesta!

Zumba Toning

The same Zumba party, now with light weights to feel your muscular endurance improving. This, you have to try!
