Admissions Information

Enrollment in an Arts & Science Co-op program is limited in order to ensure that students receive personalized assistance and quality work terms. Students are chosen for their high academic achievement, strong aptitude in applicable academic areas, interest in their discipline as demonstrated by work experience, and good communication skills.

Application Procedures for non-U of T Scarborough Students:
For students entering Co-op directly from high school, or transferring from other universities (including Mississauga and downtown campuses of UofT), you can review application policies and procedures at our Admissions site.

Applicants already enrolled in or having completed a university program will be considered for admission with advanced standing credit where applicable.

Students from outside Ontario will be assessed individually. Applications from Visa students are accepted; however, students should be aware that some government offices and private companies will hire only Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

Given that admission is competitive, we will automatically consider you for alternate choices at U of T Scarborough (for regular Computer & Mathematical, Humanities, Life Sciences, Physical & Environmental Sciences, or Social Sciences Programs) should your application for Co-op not be approved.

Application Procedures for U of T Scarborough Students:
All U of T Scarborough students interested in transferring into an Arts & Science Co-op program MUST complete a Supplementary Application Form or their request to transfer will not be considered. Application forms for transfer students are updated annually by March of each year. U of T Scarborough students must also make a subject post request on ROSI for the specific Program of interest in order to be considered.
