WELEAD “More Feet on the Ground” Mental Health Training

1 in 5 Canadians each year will experience a mental health or addiction problem (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, 2012). Moreover, suicide is the second largest cause of death amongst those aged 10-19. The Council of Ontario Universities (COU) has partnered with Brock University to develop this training which provides information on how to identify, support, and refer peers with mental health issues. This particular module is designed for U of T specifically.
