Many students are settling into the university experience by finding a healthy balance between academic and campus life.
By now, our new students have had their first midterms as well as an accumulation of course work. As final exams approach, our academic and learning strategists hold Study Success Sessions on a weekly basis to support your academic performance.
If you would rather take a study break, there are plenty of activities and events across our campus this month. Joining a club or attending these campus events are great opportunities to meet other students and make the most of your UTSC experience.
November also brings cold weather, shorter days and likely our first snow fall on campus. It’s important to stay healthy and resilient for your success. You can fend off fall fatigue by keeping physically active, eating healthy and getting plenty of rest.
On our campus, the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre has 365,000 square feet of space dedicated to athletics, recreation and sports. With Olympic-size pools, a three-story climbing wall and drop-in fitness activities, there are a variety of ways to stay active.
You can prevent the flu by coughing and sneezing in your sleeve, washing your hands and getting a flu vaccination. Our Health & Wellness Centre offers free flu shots to students. Book an appointment and bring along your health card and student card when you visit.
The Office of Student Affairs & Services supports the academic and personal success of students. Below you will find a full list of our departments to take the next step towards staying healthy and resilient. It’s all part of the student experience:
