A number of funding opportunities exist for U of T Scarborough students: Academic Travel Fund, Partnership Fund, Student Enhancement Fund, and DSA Assistance Fund.
Apply through the Intranet! Click "Student Development Opportunities Fund" on the left hand side.
Project proposals will be considered three times per year. Deadline dates for the 2017-18 academic year are:
  • Round 1: Friday, October 13, 2017
  • Round 2: Friday, January 12, 2018
  • Round 3: Friday, February 23, 2018

Academic Travel Fund

The Academic Travel Fund supports undergraduate student travel to academic conferences, meetings and/or research activities that will enhance their own academic experience and make a clear contribution to enhancing the student experience.

Partnership Fund

The Partnership Fund is intended to encourage campus wide collaboration on innovative initiatives, projects and events that promote a vibrant student experience and are consistent with the strategic goals of UTSC.

Student Enhancement Fund

The purpose of the Student Enhancement Fund is to support initiatives that enhance the quality of student life at UTSC. Any project organized by members of the UTSC community can be submitted for funding consideration.

DSA Assistance Fund

The purpose of the DSA Assistance Fund is to support projects that enhance the quality of student life at the University of Toronto at Scarborough. All recognized Departmental Students’ Associations at UTSC are eligible to apply for this fund.

Letter Award

The University of Toronto Scarborough Letter Awards were established in the fall of 2000 by the Office of Student Affairs & Services with the support of the Council on Student Services.
