The Department of Political Science and the Political Science Students’ Association are hosting the Alumni Career Panel on September 20th, 5pm - 7pm at Highland Hall Event Centre.

This insightful and inspiring event is tailored exclusively for political science undergraduates! Our upcoming event brings together a distinguished panel of esteemed alumni who have carved their career paths inspired by their political science undergraduate experience at UTSC.

The event will include a panel discussion in which our accomplished alumni will share their invaluable experiences, anecdotes, and expert insights, shedding light on the diverse range of career opportunities available to political science graduates. CHINA Town Hall - Hand on the Pulse: Changing Canadian Public Opinion on China

A recent Pew poll showed that Canadian public opinion of China has grown increasingly unfavourable over the past decade. From the two Michaels to China’s zero-Covid policy to Communist Party influence abroad, many pressure points have surfaced. Canada also has a large and diverse population of Chinese descent that enriches and participates in Canadian politics and society. This panel brings together diverse voices to discuss how Chinese in Canada have historically been treated, and what lessons there are for people-to-people exchange today.

Professor Neil Robert's talk: POLICING'S UNFREEDOM

Join Professor Neil Robert's for his upcoming talk this Friday Sept. 30 at Harvard University as part of a conference for the American Society for Political and Legal Philosophy.

The 2022 conference, to be held Friday, September 30, will be on “Policing." It will be a hybrid event: an in-person conference hosted by Harvard University’s Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics together with a Zoom meeting. Please register here, indicating whether you will be in person or on Zoom. They will distribute the Zoom link to registrants shortly before the conference.
