SERVICES AVAILABLE: Members of the UTSC Campus Police Service are sworn Peace Officers. They are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They patrol the University on foot, bicycle and by car to enhance personal safety, to prevent property crime and to monitor for fire and other hazardous conditions.

The campus is equipped with Emergency telephones, providing a direct line to UTSC Police when the receiver is removed from the cradle or the button is pressed. No dialing is necessary and University Police can pinpoint the location of the call immediately. Familiarize yourself with the Emergency telephone locations near your residence and throughout the University.

There is no charge to call University Police using any Bell payphone on campus. The UTSC Police telephone number is displayed on all Bell payphones.

Use the UTSC Building Patrol Services (UTSC Walk Safer) at 416-287-7022 or the buddy system to walk from your hall to other University locations at night. The Service operates on a 24/7/365 basis.

Staff, students and faculty working alone after hours can utilize the Lone Worker Program by signing in and out at the Police office or signing out an emergency radio. Call 416-287-7398 for further details.
