Marten A. Koops

Dr. Koops' research focuses on the dynamics of populations, the factors that affect population viability, and the application of these concepts to inform environmental and natural resource management. He uses a number of quantitative approaches to acquire data and synthesize information into models and other decision support tools. Research topics include the life history of fishes, population dynamics in response to human activities, and ecosystem structure and function.
