Payroll Deduction Permits for Staff/Faculty

Payroll Deduction Employee Permits are valid May 1st to April 30th, and must be renewed annually.  These are annual permits, paid in monthly installments.

North Lot Parking Permit 

Valid in Parking Lots G and H only.

Renewing a Permit

Payroll Deduction Employee Permits are renewed automatically annually in April.

Parking Services will send a renewal reminder email in early April for the following year.  If there are no changes to your parking permit arrangement, then no action is required and a new permit will be sent to you via internal mail. If you wish to change your parking permit arrangement, a deadline for a response will be indicated in the reminder email.

Cancelling a Permit

If you no longer require parking at University of Toronto Scarborough, or go on any type of leave (such as sabbatical, maternity/paternity or medical leave), it is your responsibility to return your permit to Parking Services in order to cancel your deductions in Human Resources’ payroll system and avoid any back-charges upon your return to work.

Permits returned for cancellation before the 5th day of the month will be cancelled effective that month; permits returned for cancellation after that date will be cancelled effective the following month. Payroll deductions will not be cancelled retroactively. Please notify the Parking Office of your intention to cancel your permit, a minimum of one week in advance for detailed instructions.

Please note: should you cancel your parking permit for which there is a waitlist (e.g. South Lot Parking Permit) for any reason other than a sabbatical, maternity/paternity or medical leave, if you require a parking permit in the future, your options will be to purchase a permit for North Lots G & H, South Lot B or North Lot K (subject to availability).  If you would like to reapply for a South Lot Permit, you will need to place your name on the Wait List.

 

Temporary/Casual Staff Permit

Temporary permits are available for staff members working at University of Toronto Scarborough for a period less than one year or an indefinite period.  

Temporary permits are not available for undergraduate or graduate students, teaching assistants, or contract faculty eligible for payroll deduction.

Permits are sold on a monthly basis. There are no refunds or discounts for partial months.

St. George and UTM Parking Permits at UTSC

Valid staff & faculty permits from St.George and UTM are accepted in the University of Toronto Scarborough Parking Lot F.  A valid St. George or UTM staff/faculty permit must be displayed on the dash/rearview mirror and be visible from the outside the front windshield at all times.

St.George campus and UTM Student, Carpool, or Commercial permits, as well as daily parking receipts, are not valid at UofT Scarborough. 

 

Joint UTSC/St. George Permit for Faculty and Staff

Any staff or faculty member who is at least 51% appointed to UofT Scarborough and has a valid UofT Scarborough parking permit is eligible to apply for a joint permit with the St. George campus.

There are two options available: reserved and unreserved. Option 1 is a reserved permit valid at the 107 St. George Street lot only. Option 2 is an unreserved/hunting permit which allows parking in any of the unreserved lots.

Annual (July 1 to June 30) or Sessional (September 1 to April 30) permits available.

Joint permits are not available to students.
