Management & International Business

Program Summary

MIB is the University of Toronto's only undergraduate international business program and the only program in Canada that requires both an international study and work term. The Specialist in Management and International Business (MIB) degree at UTSC educates a new generation of leaders to view business through a truly international lens. It provides a solid grounding in core management functions, leadership in cross-cultural contexts and foreign language development.

Through the University’s established study exchange agreements, students have the chance to study abroad for a semester in preferred destinations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, France, Sweden and the U.K.  Leveraging U of T’s large global network and UTSC’s strong history in co-operative education, students also complete paid, academically relevant work terms in Canada and internationally.

"MIB gave me a passport to the world. We talk so much about preparing for the workforce but we don't talk enough about preparing for the global workforce, something that is becoming increasingly important these days. Through MIB, I was able to work and study in and travel to countries all over the world. Since graduating, I am continuing to reap the benefits of my MIB experience." More student testimonials
