Setting up computer access for new hires
To speed up the set up of account and desktop for a newly hired staff, please ensure the following is done as soon as start date is determined:
- Provide the new staff's UTORid as soon as possible to the Staff & Faculty Helpdesk to set it up for computer authentication.
- If a new computer is needed, please obtain an eQuote from Helpdesk and specify start date for the new employee
Visiting lecturers who need access to intranet should get in touch with their department's administrative assistant. Faculty with TAs from another campus should request intranet accounts for their TAs by sending an email to Staff & Faculty Helpdesk.
