This workshop brings together academics, community partners, and government representatives to discuss strategies for providing infrastructure and cultural resources to help launch small food entrepreneurs and immigrant newcomers into the city. Speakers and discussants will share experiences with New York City street vendors and a pilot project with Malvern Family Resource Centre and Malvern Action for Neighbourhood Change.
