Biography: 

Dr. Tafliovich is a Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Toronto Scarborough. In 2002, she received an Hon. B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, where she completed a Specialist Program in Computer Science and a Major in Mathematics. In her graduate studies, Anya had the privilege of working with Eric C.R. Hehner. She received a M.Sc. in 2004 and a PhD in 2010, both in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. In 2010, Anya joined the Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Toronto Scarborough as a faculty member. She teaches a variety of courses at all levels of our undergraduate program, from Introduction to Computer Science (1st year) to advanced Software Engineering (4th year). She is involved in a number of research projects, both in Computer Science and in Computer Science Education.

formal methods of software engineering, quantum computing, computer science education
