Explore the Arts at U of T Scarborough | December 5, 2017
Introduce your students to the array of scholastic opportunities available when they choose to study the humanities or social sciences at university.
This unique field trip experience for grade 11 and 12 students will introduce them to the traditional and leading-edge programs at U of T Scarborough that bring the liberal arts to life. Your students will experience academic disciplines through hands-on workshops, discover the practical benefits of studying the arts, explore career options for arts graduates and much more!
At last year's event, students:
- explored English and Creative Writing techniques through personal writing exercises,
- delved into City Studies by examining the socio-economic and cultural impacts of a real-world urban development project
- and, in small groups, were introduced to International Development Studies by applying an interdisciplinary approach to social justice issues
