Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre

Architectural rendering of TPASC

UTSC and the community benefit from this state-of-the-art facility that features two Olympic-size pools, a diving tank and field house, and is one of the single largest investments ever made in amateur sport development in Canada. The Toronto PanAm Sports Centre (TPASC) is jointly owned by U of T and the City of Toronto, and is a legacy project of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and ParaPan American Games.

During the Games, TPASC will be the venue for swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, fencing, parts of the modern pentathlon, and sitting volleyball. Before and after, the center will be available for training and recreation to the community, UTSC students, faculty and staff, and high performance athletes.

TPASC was funded in part by UTSC student levy, and developed in partnership with the Government of Canada, the City of Toronto and the Province of Ontario. This facility has helped encourage a number of national amateur sport organizations to locate on campus, including Wheelchair Basketball Canada, which makes UTSC its home, and the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario.
