Safety During Construction

Safety is our number one priority.  We ask for your heightened awareness as you travel around campus, and that you exercise caution when walking, biking or driving in the vicinity of construction sites. Please keep the following safety precautions in mind:

  • Obey construction signs and construction personnel who are providing direction through work zones.
  • Utilize sidewalks, stay within enclosed walking areas and follow pavement markings.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to Campus Community Police at 416-287-7398.

Reporting Construction Impacts

Construction projects will have impacts on campus, including changing pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle routes and creating additional activity in certain areas. We are committed to maintaining a safe and accessible campus for our entire community. Please report any concerns or send questions about construction impacts to: evolvingcampus@utsc.utoronto.ca so that we can resolve the issue directly or work with our construction contractors to do so.
